Tellmetric vs ClickGram

ClickGram and Tellmetric address the same gap: an ad sends people into Telegram, and the ad platform has to learn who joined, wrote or paid. Each takes its own shape around that gap. This page sets out what we know about the differences, and says plainly where we do not know enough to compare, so you can decide which one fits your funnel.

The short answer

ClickGram's site describes it as "The First Ad Tracker Built for Telegram" and lists Meta, TikTok and Google as the ad platforms it works with; its blog concentrates on Telegram news and growth topics. Tellmetric is an attribution and reporting tool for Telegram and Discord funnels: it ties joins, bot messages, Telegram Stars payments and deposits from your own platform to the ad click and reports them to seven ad platforms, with a Free plan, a per-creative mode for Telegram Ads, outbound webhooks and a tracking health page. If Meta, TikTok and Google are all you buy on and you value ClickGram's editorial take on the Telegram market, it may be the natural choice. If you also run Discord, Snapchat, Reddit, Spotify or X, buy Telegram Ads, or want to start without paying, look closely at Tellmetric.

Everything said here about ClickGram comes from its own website and blog and from a third-party listing, as checked in November 2026. We have not used the product, and its site does not document its attribution method in a way we could verify. Confirm anything important with them.

What we know about ClickGram, and what we do not

Known. ClickGram positions itself as the first ad tracker built for Telegram. Its home page names Meta, TikTok and Google. The third-party listing trustmrr shows pricing from €59 a month. Its blog publishes trend and news posts: a 2026 guide to TikTok ads to Telegram, an explanation of the t.me domain outage, a comparison of organic and paid Telegram growth, and coverage of the Telegram ban in India, alongside posts on Mini Apps and the "Gram" currency.

Not known. We could not establish from public material how ClickGram matches a join to a click (single-use invite links, join requests, timing, or something else), whether it tracks Discord, whether it accepts deposits by postback from an operator or network, what its plan tiers include, whether it has a free tier, how it handles Telegram's own ad network, or whether it offers webhooks, a white-label domain or agency features. The table below leaves those cells as "not documented" rather than guessing.

How Tellmetric attributes a Telegram action

Tellmetric records the click on its own tracking link, storing the platform's click id (fbclid, ttclid, gclid, sccid, rdt_cid, spdt, twclid), the UTM labels and sub ids, then hands the visitor to your bot. For a group or channel, the bot creates a single-use invite link for that click; when Telegram reports a join or a join request made with that link, the match is exact. With direct join on, the visitor skips the Start step and goes straight to that invite. For a conversation, the bot deep link carries the click and the first message is recorded as AdminDM. Joins are tracked by your own bot, as admin or as a plain member, never by a personal account. If the ad goes to a landing page instead, the tracker.js snippet carries the click identifiers into every Telegram button.

For Discord, the join link sends the visitor through Discord's authorise screen; the callback adds them to the server and records the join against the click. Retained and Leave are found by a periodic rights check. See Discord invite tracking.

Where ClickGram may fit better

  • You want a Telegram-only tool from a Telegram-only vendor. ClickGram's positioning, blog and feature list are all about Telegram. If Discord is not part of your work and never will be, that focus is a reasonable reason to prefer it.
  • You follow the Telegram market through its editorial. ClickGram's blog covers the t.me outage, the India ban, organic versus paid growth and the Gram currency. Tellmetric's guides explain setups; they do not cover news.
  • Its attribution method, once you have confirmed it with them, suits a funnel shape Tellmetric does not cover. Tellmetric tracks conversations with your bot, not with a personal account, and does not include a bot builder, an inbox or broadcasts. If ClickGram covers one of those and you need it, that decides it.
  • Its pricing works out lower for your traffic. We know only the starting price. Ask for the plan that matches your monthly volume and compare it with the Tellmetric figures below.

Where Tellmetric is the stronger choice

  • Discord as well as Telegram. One workspace tracks Telegram groups, channels and Discord servers together, with the same links, dashboard and reporting. Discord has no pixel and no native invite attribution; the authorised join link records which ad brought each member.
  • Seven ad platforms. Meta on every plan; TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, Spotify, X and Google Ads on Pro and Agency, each receiving the join or deposit with its own click id. Google uploads go through the Data Manager API.
  • A Free plan. 1,000 tracked users a month with Meta reporting, one community, no card. Enough to prove the setup on a real campaign before paying.
  • Telegram Ads mode. Telegram's own network gives no click id, so each link gets a t.me address and spend is entered by hand; results per creative show cost per join, cost per retained member, cost per deposit and return. See Telegram Ads conversion tracking.
  • Outbound webhooks. Every join, message, deposit, lead and membership change can be forwarded to your tracker, Zapier, Make or a Google Sheet as a GET template or a signed JSON POST, with a test send from Connections. See Telegram to Zapier, Make and Google Sheets.
  • Tracking health. A page that answers "is it actually working?": clicks flowing but no joins, the bot lost admin rights, Meta rejecting events, match quality falling, each with an email notice when it breaks.
  • Cost per retained member. Members who leave are recorded and the dashboard shows cost per retained member beside cost per join, so a creative that buys cheap joins who leave within a day is visible before it eats the budget.
  • Deposits from anywhere. A casino, broker or shop that holds the click id sends one postback per deposit in the format Keitaro, RedTrack and Voluum already use; the Telegram member behind the click is attached automatically. See Telegram postback tracking.
  • White-label domain on Agency. Agency includes a white-label domain and brand, client sub-accounts, five workspaces and five seats.

Pricing in practice

At the time of writing (November 2026), the only public figure we have for ClickGram is a starting price of €59 a month from the trustmrr listing. Its site does not, as far as we could find, publish plan tiers, volume limits or what each tier includes, so ask for those before comparing.

Tellmetric's Free plan costs nothing and covers 1,000 tracked users a month with Meta reporting and reports for the last 30 days. Pro is €49 a month (or €490 a year) for 25,000 tracked users, every supported ad platform, match quality and member value reports, full history and CSV exports; with monthly billing, above the cap you can switch on pay-as-you-go at €2 per extra 1,000 tracked users, or delivery pauses until the next month while links keep redirecting. Agency is €249 a month (€2,490 a year) with no tracked-user cap, white-label domain and brand, five workspaces and five seats. Conversions are never capped on any plan. See pricing.

Which one to choose

  • Telegram only, Meta, TikTok or Google only, and you want a vendor whose whole product and blog is Telegram: consider ClickGram, after confirming its attribution method and plan limits with them.
  • Telegram and Discord, or more ad platforms than those three: Tellmetric.
  • Revenue happens on an operator's platform that reports deposits by postback, or you need every event in your own tracker or sheet: Tellmetric accepts the postback and forwards events by webhook.
  • You buy Telegram Ads: Tellmetric's per-creative mode measures joins, retained members and deposits per creative even without a click id.
  • You want to try before paying: Tellmetric's Free plan; we do not know whether ClickGram offers one.

Frequently asked

Is Tellmetric a ClickGram alternative?

For the core task, attributing Telegram joins and payments to ads and reporting them to Meta, TikTok and Google, yes. Tellmetric adds Discord, four more ad platforms, a Telegram Ads mode, outbound webhooks and a Free plan; ClickGram may offer things we could not verify from its site.

Can I switch from ClickGram without losing history?

Tellmetric has no import from other trackers. Run both in parallel on a new campaign, with Tellmetric's links in the ad and the old tool's data kept where it is, and move campaigns over as they start.

Can I use Tellmetric with a bot I already run elsewhere?

Tellmetric needs a bot token to create invite links and see joins and messages, and a token can only receive updates for one program at a time, so a bot run by another service usually needs a separate bot for tracking.

Do both work without a landing page?

Tellmetric does: the tracking link opens Telegram directly, and a snippet is available for funnels that use a page. We could not confirm ClickGram's setup from its public material.

Can I try Tellmetric before paying?

The Free plan needs no card and includes Meta reporting for 1,000 tracked users a month.
